What is significant or notable about a particular case is sometimes quite subjective. Many cases in which we are involved never reach the courts. Our attention is first focussed on seeking to ensure that, in respect of criminal matters, if legal processes can be used to stop a prosecution starting or continuing then we will endeavour to take such steps on your behalf and even take novel action to stop them e.g : | Le Grand v Criminal Justice Commission [2001] QCA 383. In respect of a civil action the primary focus is on the resolution of the 'conflict' through negotiation.
